You get to a point in your life when you realize you're never going to have children of your own, so you do the next best thing, you rescue them!

Rescue is a rollercoaster of emotions. We mourn the loss of Lady and her unborn puppies and celebrate the birth of Tammy Rae’s puppies.

We are so much more than a dog rescue!  We are a community of incredible volunteers with one goal in mind: To help dogs in need find  loving, forever homes.

Earlier this year, we shared the story of Sweetie (a Great Pyrenees) who had lived her entire life tethered to a tree.

We are celebrating our extremely successful rescue mission to Manitoba while contending with Covid restrictions and wild fire threats.

Rescue doesn’t always happen in a shelter, sometimes it happens by accident! That was certainly the case with Sweetie.
